Cheekbone Reduction & V-Line Surgery
Right After Surgery (Day 0)
I had been wanting to try facial contouring for a long time. At first, I thought that I had sunken temples so I visited a clinic for temporal fat grafting. However, after the procedure, my face became wider and bigger and it was not the result I desired.
Looking at my pictures before surgery, my cheekbones were high and my cheeks were wide. I really hated my face shape and I wanted to go for a face contour surgery. For almost a year, I conducted searches on hospitals at home and overseas but the surgery prices were ridiculously high. And then, I found NOWME. I must have been terribly lucky.
NOWME caught my eye because it is a specialist clinic. It specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery unlike general hospitals which have all the other departments. Therefore, I contacted the clinic's interpreter at once and even had my electronic medical visa made within 3 days. It was extremely fast! The moment I got my visa, I bought my plane ticket and set off for Korea immediately. Upon arriving at the clinic, the interpreter accompanied me through a couple of tests. Next I took a CT scan and the doctor explained the surgical procedures to me. I went for the surgery the very next day.
Today is the first day after surgery. The surgery ended in the afternoon of the 15th. I am very satisfied with the results. The doctor has, indeed, the same aesthetic sense as I have. My cheeks have gotten slimmer, and although swelling remains, I am satisfied with the results. The interpreter was very pretty and nice to me. As I could not go out, she bought me a neck pillow, medicine and handled everything for me. The nurse who attended to me when I was hospitalized was also very nice to me. She checked on me every 30 minutes, got me water and came immediately with painkillers whenever I pressed the bell due to pain or discomfort.
I was very well taken care of from surgery to aftercare, and so I did not experience as much pain, dizziness and nosebleeds as what patients at other hospitals do. Other than feeling constantly sleeping, I did not really feel anything after waking up from anesthesia. The next morning, I briefly experienced discomfort but it soon got better. Removal of the oral cannula did not hurt. It just felt like something coming out from my mouth. Upon discharge, I was given masks, ice packs and even a drink by the clinic. The interpreter explained the precautions to take after surgery once more and I returned to my place of lodging immediately.
